How to advertise on the KHA Sale Pen
This classified ads feature of the Kentucky Hereford Association (KHA) is designed as a low cost connection to sellers and buyers of the Hereford breed. Following are the requirements, restrictions and disclaimers in using this service. We hope that this feature will be of benefit to all that are involved in the Kentucky Hereford industry.
The KHA Sale Pen Guidelines:
* Advertising Hereford cattle for pure bred or commercial operations, show calf prospects, semen and supplies for AI and embryo lots
* Cattle should be of good health, quality and registered breeding
* Semen and embryos should be undamaged, frozen and meet industry standards
* AI products/supplies should be in excellent to good working condition
* Ads will contain short and precise information with contact name and phone number
* Ads are for Private Treaty Sales
* Ads are not designed for business promotion
* Advertiser should contact the KHA Web Manager to submit ads
* Advertiser will be sent an ad proof via email for approval before ad is posted
* Ad will be posted upon receipt of proof approval
* Ad will run on the KHA Website for 30 days from the date it is posted
* If ad needs to run longer than 30 days it is the advertiser's reponsibility to notify the KHA Web Manager
* Ad rates are $10.00 for KHA members and $20.00 for non-members
* Ad may contain one picture with an additional cost of $5.00, picture will be sized to fit ad, logos not permitted
* Payments should be in the form of check or money order, made payable to 'Kentucky Hereford Association' and mailed to Earlene Thomas, KHA Sec/Treas.
* KHA is the advertising agent only and will not be held responsible for any misrepresentations, sale disputes or other liable damages from seller or buyer
* KHA does not guarantee ad will generate sales
* KHA is not responsible for shipping and transportation of advertised livestock, products or supplies
